Verbatim Forever
Every word you say is preserved exactly as spoken — never rewritten, summarized, or polished. Other services edit your words into tidy prose. We never touch them. That is the Verbatim Law.
HOW IT WORKS

Quiddity's AI Biographer interviews you in a warm, natural voice — no script, no preparation. It asks one question at a time, follows where you lead, and waits when you need to think. Start today; there is no wrong time.

After each session, Quiddity extracts every story you told — verbatim, word for word, exactly as you said it. No editing, no paraphrasing. Each story becomes a card on your life timeline you can revisit, add to, and share on your own terms.

Add Guardians — family or close friends who help tend your archive while you're still here. They can add photos and videos to your stories, leave reactions, and share in the telling as it grows.

Activate your Avatar any time — now, while you're living, or later. Your children, grandchildren, anyone you choose can ask it questions and hear answers in your own voice, drawn from the stories you told.

When the time comes, Memorial Mode closes your archive as its final chapter. Nothing is edited, nothing erased. Every word stays exactly as you said it — a record that belongs to everyone who loved you.
Built for a life still being lived
Every word you say is preserved exactly as spoken — never rewritten, summarized, or polished. Other services edit your words into tidy prose. We never touch them. That is the Verbatim Law.
Your voice lives on through a personalised AI Avatar. Guardians can ask questions and hear your answers — in your own voice — for generations.
Invite up to 15 trusted Guardians to access your archive. Share specific stories privately or open your archive to everyone you love.
Hosted in Canadian data centres. AES-256 encrypted at rest and in transit. Your stories never leave Canada without your consent.
When the time comes, a Guardian can activate Memorial Mode — locking the archive forever, generating a QR memorial poster, and sharing your legacy.
Use the browser, dial in by phone, or type your answers. Quiddity adapts to how you're most comfortable sharing your story.

Questions families ask
Your voice clone exists for one purpose: speaking your stories back to the people you choose. Your recordings and transcripts are never sold or shared, and are never used to train AI beyond your own voice clone. Voice processing is provided by ElevenLabs (in the United States) and is consented to explicitly during signup. You can request deletion of your voice data at any time under our Privacy Policy.
Yes. You can permanently delete any story yourself from Account → Data & Privacy, and its stored files are removed within a day. For deletion of your entire account and all associated data, a written request under our Privacy Policy is honoured within 30 days, with backups clearing within a further 30 days; payment records are retained for 7 years as Canadian tax law requires. One exception: once a Guardian activates Memorial Mode, the archive is permanently sealed and can no longer be changed or deleted.
Your session credits never expire. Record on your own schedule — one session this month, the next whenever you're ready. And if you change your mind before you begin, every purchase carries a full refund within 14 days if no sessions have been recorded.
Yes — many families start Quiddity for a parent or grandparent. During signup, uncheck “I am the person whose story will be preserved,” confirm you're authorized to consent on their behalf, and enter their name. The archive is created as theirs, and you help them participate in sessions — many of the best recordings happen with family in the room.
Only what you allow. Every Guardian has a “Can view stories while I'm alive” permission that you control, and every story carries its own audience setting — family, Guardians only, one specific person, everyone, or only you. Stories marked “Only me” are never visible to anyone else, and stories you set to release on memorial stay sealed until a Guardian activates Memorial Mode. These rules are enforced at the database layer, not just in the app.
